Monthly Events & More!
Step into a world of fantasy with Fairytale Dreamer's enchanting monthly events! Follow our Facebook events tab for all the magical details. We partner with venues that offer pocket-friendly tickets that ensure every child gets to meet their favorite characters and creatures all year long!
Every first Sunday (times vary), a friend from our character-crew visits The Bomb Bar of Raleigh for character hour. Anything from princess visits and animal encounters to magic and super heroes can be seen there! This event is free, but we promise you will want to support and try their healthy smoothies!

We are also frequently at Downtown Cary's park and events, which are always free.

Animal Friends
It is our mission to educate families about the dangers of outdoor cats as well as the research that should go into picking out a family pet. Almost all of the animals we bring to our educational shows are rescues or surrendered animals. Our hope is to spread awareness to our future generation so they will make better decisions when picking out a pet or what to do when they come across wildlife needing help.
Adopt don't shop! We are licensed rehabbers that take in injured wildlife and surrendered exotic pets (and sometimes kittens under 8 weeks old). We work with several sanctuaries and rescues in the area and are USDA licensed for animal shows. We have all kinds of creatures that are looking for their fur-ever homes, so please contact us before you go to the pet shop for your next family member!

We currently have 80 characters to pick from but some may have masks or gloves that don't allow them to do some activities we offer. More detailed information can be found under our "Packages" tab, but entertainment for an hour could include one or two of the following, depending on numbers:
- Animal encounters
- Balloon animals
- Singing & dancing
- Magic
- Face painting or cheek glitter
- Science experiment
- Crowning ceremony
- Canvas painting party/craft
- Music session
- Tea party and story
- Giant bubbles
- Fairy hair
All packages leave time for a group photo at the end, if there is a character!
Please let us know if your party will be indoors or out, so we can safely prepare. Many characters cannot be outdoors for more than 15 minutes in the heat or extreme cold. Face paint also does best indoors. We have a short list of characters that can be outdoors from May to September and they must be under cover with a fan if needed.
Our proceeds from our shows help us run Schumacher Sanctuary and we are completely self funded!

We love seeing our fans throughout the year and not just at their birthdays once a year! We believe all children should have the chance to see the animals and characters they love, free of charge.
